I architected Couchsurfing's mobile app from an empty repo to 1.3M lines of production code serving 25M+ members, and I led the team of 9 engineers who build on it. Before that I grew a meal-planning app 5× to 10K+ monthly active users as its sole developer, on a product doing over $1M a year at 4.8 stars. Alongside all of that I maintain 36 packages on pub.dev — including two full backend frameworks, Revali and Zonai — downloaded 198K times a month. Most of it exists because some corner of the Dart ecosystem was missing it, and I've spoken about that work at three Flutter conferences. If a tool gets in a developer's way, I'd rather fix the tool than work around it.

  • Led and mentored a team of 9 mobile engineers, reviewing 2,382 pull requests and setting the architecture and engineering standards the entire mobile org still builds against.
  • Shipped 947 pull requests and 1,100+ commits into a 67-contributor monorepo, one of its most active engineers across both the Dart and TypeScript sides.
  • Built a type-safe code generation pipeline that syncs backend TypeScript contracts into Dart models, eliminating hand-written API models and the whole class of runtime contract bugs that came with them.
  • Designed a fully automated CI/CD platform for multi-track iOS and Android releases, turning a manual, engineer-supervised process into a hands-off pipeline.

A Dart backend framework inspired by NestJS — decorators, DI, and structure for building APIs. (Yes, named after the Zelda champion.)

  • Annotate a controller and Revali generates the router, request binding, and DI wiring — no boilerplate to hand-maintain.
  • Constructs extend the build: Swagger docs, a typed Dart client, and Docker output all fall out of the same annotations.
  • Ships a CLI (dev server, route inspection, scaffolding, doctor) and an MCP server, so agents can read your routes too.

A batteries-included Dart backend framework — auth, a typed database layer, live query streams, file storage, cron, and rules-based access control, generated from a schema you write in Dart. Named after Tears of the Kingdom's ancient civilization.

  • Live query streams: clients subscribe to a query and get pushed updates as rows change.
  • Schema-first — declare your tables in Dart and get CRUD, auth flows, SQL, and a typed client generated at compile time.
  • Auth is built in: JWT sessions, OTP, magic links, external identity providers, and per-row access rules.
  • Built on Revali's router, so the two frameworks share a foundation — Zonai is what Revali looks like with the batteries included.
